Reliable Refrigerated And Heated Shipping

Temperature Controlled Transport

We move temperature-sensitive freight with calibrated reefers set for frozen, chilled, or heated control. Our operations hub in Delta, BC supports Surrey, Metro Vancouver, and long-haul lanes from British Columbia to Ontario, with Canada and USA coverage.

Food, beverage, produce, retail, seasonal, and pharmaceutical shippers rely on our 24/7 dispatch, disciplined procedures, and photo PODs. Anax Carriers balances compliance, care, and on-time performance without over-promising.

Proven Control From Dock To Door

Why Surrey Chooses Our Temperature-Controlled Transport?

Cold chain mistakes are expensive, so Anax Carriers treats temperature control as a process, not a promise. We run 53-ft reefers and 5-ton units maintained to manufacturer specs, validated before dispatch, and documented at pickup and delivery. Our drivers are trained on food-grade hygiene, seal handling, and exception reporting.

We publish clear setpoints—frozen −18°C to −25°C (±2°C), chilled +2°C to +4°C (±1°C), and heated +10°C to +15°C (±2°C)—so shippers know exactly what we hold ourselves to. Dispatch is 24/7 from British Columbia with coverage across Surrey, Delta, Metro Vancouver, and long-haul lanes to Ontario, plus cross-border Canada–USA moves.

We never advertise live telemetry or guarantees; instead, we focus on controllables: calibrated equipment, route planning, weather/road monitoring, and rapid communication. Paper and photo PODs are available for appointment and residential deliveries. Loads are accepted case-by-case to ensure freight is compatible and stackable if requested.

Insurance is available up to CAD 250,000 per occurrence, and we comply with legal axle limits without posting a single “max payload” number. We exclude hazmat LTL with food, keep documentation tidy, and coordinate with your broker for cross-border filings when required.

If you’re shipping blueberries out of the Fraser Valley, retail promotional freight to Ontario, or pharmaceuticals requiring tight tolerances, our priority, best-effort service gives you a dependable temperature-controlled transport option without over-promising. Our cross-dock network in Delta, Calgary, Winnipeg, and Brampton supports short-term holds and smooth handoffs when schedules change.

Answers About Cold Chain Freight

What temperatures can you maintain?

We run frozen −18°C to −25°C (±2°C), chilled +2°C to +4°C (±1°C), and heated +10°C to +15°C (±2°C). These published setpoints keep temperature controlled transport predictable for food, retail, seasonal, and pharmaceutical freight. We confirm settings at pickup, document exceptions, and verify at delivery so your cold chain holds through Surrey, Delta, Metro Vancouver, and long-haul lanes.

Do you offer live temperature tracking?

We do not advertise live portals or apps. Instead, we focus on controls that matter in reefer trucking: calibrated equipment, disciplined pre-trip checks, and responsive 24/7 dispatch. Temperatures and setpoints are recorded in trip documents and reviewed at delivery. Our approach keeps temperature controlled transport compliant, auditable, and aligned with your customer’s requirements.

Can you handle cross-border shipments?

Yes, we serve Canada and USA. Before pickup, have your broker details, commercial invoice, packing list, HS codes, Power of Attorney, and PARS/PAPS ready. We coordinate filings like ACI or ACE when required. Temperature controlled transport remains consistent across the border, with setpoints confirmed and seal handling documented for food and pharmaceutical loads.

How fast is BC to Ontario?

Transit times are guidance, not guarantees. Typical long-haul for chilled or frozen freight is approximately three days BC to Ontario, subject to weather, road closures, and force majeure. Temperature controlled transport depends on conditions and appointments, and our priority best-effort planning keeps lanes efficient while protecting the cold chain for produce, packaged foods, and retail programs.

Are multi-stop refrigerated loads accepted?

Stops are accepted and are billed case-by-case. Charges start from 100 per on-route stop and are higher off-route. We plan multi-stop temperature controlled transport carefully to reduce door time, maintain setpoints, and minimise thermal shock at each location. Tell us the sequence, appointment windows, and handling notes so we can optimise routing.

What proof of delivery is provided?

We provide paper POD and photo POD for residential or appointment deliveries. eSignature is not currently listed. For temperature controlled transport, we also record setpoints in our trip documents and note seals when applied. This gives customers simple, audit-friendly records without relying on real-time telemetry.

How do you protect pharmaceuticals?

We follow the published setpoints for chilled and heated freight and manage exceptions with immediate communication. Drivers are trained on hygiene, seal custody, and documentation. Temperature controlled transport for pharmaceuticals remains priority best-effort, with 24/7 dispatch, calibrated reefers, and broker coordination available for cross-border moves where required.

Is hazmat freight accepted with food?

No. We do not accept hazmat LTL with food. That restriction protects food safety and simplifies compliance within temperature controlled transport. If your freight is non-hazardous and temperature-sensitive, we can configure a dedicated reefer solution and confirm handling notes, stackability, and accessorials like appointments or liftgate if required.
